HUNTER ROOT

Hunter has been steadily playing music since he was twelve years old. After a few early projects in his high school years and an album of demos recorded in his room he helped form the Lancaster-based band, Medusa's Disco. Heavily playing shows and recording numerous psyche rock albums with the Medusa gang eventually led to him getting back in touch with his roots as a solo acoustic artist. Hunter released his first solo album on March 2nd, 2018 titled "They Finally Cracked Me". He wrote, recorded, produced, and played all of the instruments on the record. The album features a full band style while his live performances are stripped down, acoustic, and raw. The genre is a blend of acoustic rock, folk, and grunge. Hunter has plans to release a second solo album this year on March 1st.

LYNCS

Lyncs is a singer/songwriter from Lancaster, Pennsylvania who has blossomed in the local thriving music scene. Also known as Jackie Hynes to her friends, her long and diverse performance history speaks for her talent. Her first instrument was a violin, given to her by her elementary school back in the first grade. She continued for 6 years with the violin until there was a sudden need for a bassist in the orchestra, and the rest is history. In 2013 she joined the Hershey Symphony Orchestra and performed classical music until her collegiate career took off in 2016.

A 2018 graduate from Millersville University Tell School of Music, she played electric bass guitar and opened up for Joan Jett and The Blackhearts in 2017 with a school rock ensemble. Since then, she has pursued her passion for songwriting and continues to live every day with the goal of changing the world. Her debut release, ‘The Safety EP’ is a fantastic collection of heartfelt and heartwarming lyrics that intermix acoustic and electronic genres in an unprecedented style. Lyncs had her debut performance at local music festival Tellus3City Fest in August of 2018 and has since been forging her own path to storytelling and finding what connects us all.
